Accessing Manager Mode
Scan Manager Key with barcode scanner OR Enter Passcode After:

Transactions & Sales
This bar details the total amount of transactions and total sales for the kiosks within that specific location for the day.
Please Note: If there are multiple kiosks connected to that location, this bar will show the combined sales of ALL kiosks, not just the current kiosk you are accessing. |
Refresh
Pressing this button will quickly restart all software services.
This should be your first troubleshooting step when your kiosk is not performing as expected. |
Hibernate
This allows you to place the kiosk in a hibernated state to prevent checkout.
In order to allow for customer's to continue using the kiosk again, log back into Manager Mode and press the Wake button where the Hibernate button previously was.
Helpful Tip: Hibernate your kiosk at the end of the day instead of shutting the kiosk off. This will allow any necessary software updates to still be able to go through while the kiosk is not in use. |
Transactions
This allows you to access the most recent transactions made on all of the kiosks at that specific location.
The kiosk will hold transactions locally for 24 hours, for any historical transactions please visit Cloud.

This allows for you to request help from our Mashgin Support team.
Enter your name and phone number and then press the Request Help button.

Info
This is where you can gather important information regarding your Mashgin kiosk, such as Kiosk ID, Location ID, IP Address and MAC Address.
Helpful Tip: You can also find the Kiosk ID in the bottom right hand corner of the main Manager Mode page. |
Items
The Items page allows for you to view and search for all items within your menu.
You can find items by scanning the barcode or typing in the name of the item.
Once you scan the barcode or click on the name of the item you searched for, you will be brought to the posing page. This is where you can view the item's details and the poses associated with the item. |

Sounds
This button allows you to raise or lower the volume for the kiosk’s speakers as well as play a test sound. |
Sync DB
This allows for you to sync the kiosk to the location's database.
Helpful Tip: Whenever you add a new menu item or edit an existing menu item within Creator, it is helpful to press Sync DB on each kiosk to reflect the changes made! |

Advanced
By tapping Advanced, you can access a secondary menu with more settings.

Network
The network button allows for you to do three things:

Devices
Devices allows you to check that the peripherals connected to the kiosk are being recognized and working properly.
The All USB tab shows you all USB devices that have a proper connection with the kiosk.
The Test Devices tab allows for you to test the functionality of the following devices:

Calibration
This section is where you are able to calibrate the cameras within the kiosk.
You should see eight live camera feeds within this page, if you see less than eight, then you most likely have a missing cam. See below for more details.
You can also use this page to see if any foreign items are obstructing the cameras' view of the base. |

Initial Setup
This button allows the kiosk to be initialized to a desired location. These steps should be performed anytime you are moving a kiosk to a different location. |

FCC
This page is where you can install necessary firmware configurations to your Ingenico card reader.
Anytime an Ingenico is replaced you will need to configure it accordingly. If you are unsure of your location's configurations, please reach out to Mashgin Support.
Please Note: FCC is a configuration specifically for FreedomPay Integrations. Depending on your location's payment integration, this section may be titled differently; including but not limited to: Shift4, WorldPay, or Windcave. If you have any questions about installing configurations for payment processing, please reach out to Mashgin Support. |
Cams
This is where you can view the status of the cameras' calibration.
Please Note: It is completely normal to see blue and black boxes within the cams page, this does not necessarily mean there are any cams missing. In order to see if any cams are missing, please go to the Calibration page within the Advanced menu. |

Reconnect to Grid
This button will reconnect the kiosk to our grid. This button is useful to press when the kiosk is experiencing issues connecting to the network.
Once pressed, either a green check or orange X will appear to let you know if the connection was successful or not.
If you continue to experience network issues after pressing Reconnect to Grid, please double check your network settings and configuration as well as the port. If issues persist, please reach out to Mashgin Support. |
Reboot
Pressing this button will turn the kiosk completely off and boot it back on a few seconds later.
This process may take a few minutes to complete, but is a great troubleshooting step to take if the kiosk is not performing properly. |
Shutdown
Pressing this button will turn the kiosk completely off. The kiosk will not turn back on unless the circular power button on the back of the kiosk is pressed.
When performing a proper power cycle, it is imperative for the kiosk to be fully shutdown before any power cables are unplugged. |
