Kitchen Mode vs. Order Mode
Now that you are acquainted with Kiosk Lite Manager and the Byte Main Menu, it is time to take a look at the different modes within Byte: Order Mode vs. Kitchen Mode.
Order Mode
This is a customer-facing mode that allows users to order items from your previously created stations (i.e. cafeterias), and/or checkout using a barcode scanner the old school way (i.e. convenience stores). If you are setting up Byte as Order Mode, check out the Order Mode Settings article for more information.
Kitchen Mode
This is a back-of-house facing mode that allows your chef and staff to manage mobile and tablet orders. This also allows Chef and Staff to quickly create orders in demand when other Order tablets are in use. If you are setting up Byte as Kitchen Mode, check out the Kitchen Mode Settings article for more information.
