How to Load Thermal Printer Paper

This article explains how to load a new roll of paper into a thermal printer.

💡 HELPFUL TIP: Mashgin thermal printers take the standard thermal printer paper size: 3 1/8"

 

Step 1

Open Printer & Remove Used Roll

Press the large button on the top of the printer to open the cover Remove the used paper core

 

Step 2

Insert New Roll

Insert the new roll into the printer with the excess going underneath the roll Pull out some of the excess paper Close the cover firmly with the excess paper hanging out (you should hear the cover click into place once it's securely closed)

 

Step 3

Test Feed & Print

Press the "Feed" button on the top of the printer to let a little more excess feed out of the slot Go to Manager Mode > Advanced > QC Scripts > Printer Press "Print Test Page" If this does not work, please see Printer Not Printing for more details
