Step 1
Check Ingenico Power
- Check that the Ingenico is powered on and the screen shows a "Secured by FreedomPay" message.
- If the Ingenico screen says "This Lane Closed", please see Ingenico This Lane Closed Message for more details.
- You can also reboot the Ingenico device, for step by step instructions please check theHow to Power Cycle an Ingenico article.
- If the issue persists please go to Step 2.
Step 2
Check Ingenico Cabling
- Start at the top of the Ingenico itself and trace the cable all the way to the end
- On some Ingenico models (Lane 3k, 3600, and 7K), the cable will split into two cables halfway throughout, called a Y-cable.
- Y-Cables split into a thicker USB cable and a thinner cable connected to a power brick that is plugged into a separate outlet
- On some Ingenico models (Lane 3k, 3600, and 7K), the cable will split into two cables halfway throughout, called a Y-cable.
- Check that the USB is plugged in properly on the back of the Kiosk.
- If unsure of where the cable is supposed to be connected to please check the External Cabling Guide article.
- Check that the power adapter is plugged in properly into a working outlet.
