How to Reseat Hood Cam Cables

This article provides steps on how to reseat arm cam USB cables.

 

Step 1

Shut Down Kiosk

Go to Manager Mode > Advanced > Shutdown Once the circular power button on the back of the kiosk goes dark, unplug the power cable on the back of the kiosk

 

Step 2

Remove Kiosk's Back Plate

Remove the six screws securing the back plate to the kiosk

 

Step 3

Reseat USB Cables inside MPU

• Reseat the USB cables connected to the top of the MPU by unplugging them for a few seconds and plugging them back in
  • The inside connections of your kiosk may not look exactly like the picture below due to differing kiosk models, therefore it is a good idea to reseat all of the USB cables you see connected to the MPU -- just make sure they are plugged into the same ports they were initially plugged into!

 

Step 4

Replace Back Plate & Turn Kiosk On

Put the back plate back onto the kiosk and secure in place with six screws Plug the power cable back into the back of the kiosk Press the circular power button to turn the kiosk back on
