Scale Not Powering On

This article provides troubleshooting steps to take if the scale is not powering on.

 

Step 1

Check USB Connections

	The scale is powered only by a USB cable. If this USB connection becomes loose, more likely than not the scale will lose power and not be able to communicate with the kiosk. Check to make sure it is plugged it securely by reseating the USB connection.
	Confirm that the same USB cable is plugged in firmly to the kiosk itself. Trace the cable to see where it ends and reseat the cable as needed.

Step 2

Check Scale Display

Confirm that the scale is turned on. The scale does not automatically turn on once plugged in. You will need to tap the On/Off button.
