How to Add New Menu Items via Kiosk UI

This article provides steps on how to add new menu items via the kiosk.

 

Step 1

To begin adding new items using the kiosk's scanner, please access Manager Mode and press on Items or scan the barcode of the item while in Manager Mode.

 

Step 2

If you scanned the barcode of the item, you will be prompted to enter the item's details: Name: Type the item's name. Price: Type the item's price. If you need to change it at a later date/time, you can go to Creator to make these changes.  Count: This is where you can type the item's count. For example: you would enter "6" for a 6 pack of cans.

 

Step 3

Add 20-30 poses of the item. Please see How to Pose Items for more details.

 

Potential Errors

If you encounter the following screen when you scan the barcode of a new item, this means that your menu is managed by an independent pricebook system. Locations that have pricebook management systems need to add new items through their pricebook team.
