✨ What's New:
Coming Soon: When an item utilizing a dotcode (aruco code) gets placed on the base for checkout, the symbol next to the name of the item will be different, depending on whether or not it's a hardcoded aruco versus non-hardcoded aruco.
What is a hardcoded Aruco?
Hardcoded arucos are dotcodes that can be ordered from Mashgin directly at dotcodes.mashgin.com. These dotcodes come as pre-made sticker rolls and when used during a transaction, their symbol will show up in the cart as an empty circle with the value of the aruco code within the circle, indicating which aruco code was utilized. Please see the list below for all of the hardcoded Aruco codes:
- 1 - 10
- M1 - M4
- S1 - S5
- PLUS (+)
- SIDE
- F1 - F6
- C1 - C5
- G1 - G4
- A1 - A5
What is a non-hardcoded Aruco?
Non-hardcoded arucos are all other aruco codes that are created on a third-party system to be used on the Mashgin kiosk. If your location creates and prints off their own Aruco code stickers, then the symbol that will appear next to the item name when the non-hardcoded aruco code is being used will be a generic dotcode symbol (as pictured above). The symbol will not indicate which code is being utilized.
