Here's everything you need to know about menu mirroring on Creator!
What is Menu Mirroring?
Menu mirroring is when you have multiple locations on Creator and you want them all to have the exact same menu items. Mirroring allows menus to be copied (or mirrored) over from one primary location to various secondary locations.
How do I know if my location is mirroring another location?
On Creator, underneath the location's name within the side panel, you will see a yellow-orange box that tells you the name of the primary location that the secondary location is mirroring. If you click on that box, it will bring you to the primary location's menu on Creator.
Parent Location | Child Location |
🚨 Please Note: The primary location will not feature any box to indicate that it has secondary location(s) mirroring it's menu.
What is impacted by mirroring menus?
The following menu details are impacted by mirroring menus, meaning these details will be copied over from the primary location to any secondary locations:
- Menu Items and Details
- Item Names
- Prices
- Aruco (Dotcode) Associations
- Tags
- etc.
- Stations
- Taxes
- Discounts
- Price Modes
How do I make changes to my menu if it is mirroring another?
If you are looking to make changes to your menu, it is best to make all changes at the primary location that the other secondary locations mirror. Any changes made within the primary location will automatically reflect at the secondary locations.
