Where can I find tagged items within my report?
Once you create your tags and generate sales after saving the changes, the tagged items sold will appear within the Top Tags section of the Cloud Dashboard. You can also find the tag sales within the PDF and CSV versions of the report, again under the Top Tags section.
How can tagging menu items help me with reporting?
Tags can be a great way to track how much of an item is being sold as well as the total revenue they are bringing in. Since you are able to create unique tags, the possibilities are endless on what you can display on your reports! Do you want to see how many alcoholic beverages are being sold versus non-alcoholic beverages? Simply tag all alcoholic beverages with the word alcohol and the latter with na-bev and then you'd be able to view the totals within the next sales report after saving those changes!
