This article provides an explanation as to why there may be missing transaction ID numbers within the Transactions tab.
Each transaction features a unique transaction ID. These IDs are numbered sequentially and increase based on how many transactions have occurred on the kiosk. Most of the time, you will see the numbers grow by one digit, however, there are times when it seems to skip numbers, as pictured. The skipped transaction numbers are merely cancelled transactions that never fully processed on the kiosk for a variety of reasons. These are not included within Cloud in order to keep the Transactions tab clean and free of cluttered canceled transactions. Cancelled transactions are not included within Cloud simply for the reason that there are dozens of "cancelled" transactions that can happen completely on accident--such as someone setting their hand on the base of the kiosk when in conversation and then removing their hand, therefore triggering a "cancelled" transaction to occur. These transactions would not offer you valuable data within this tab, therefore cancelled transactions are removed. |
