Moneris User Guide – Mashgin

This article covers the Moneris integration within Mashgin.

Summary

Moneris is a payment gateway that utilizes Verifone P400 card readers.

	Customer places item(s) on the base of the kiosk.
	Customer uses credit / debit card or tap to pay on the Verifone reader in order to complete transaction.

Confirm with Mashgin Support that the payment credentials are in place.
The Verifone P400 terminal must be set to a static or reserved IP.
The required screw to mount the P400 female thread is an M3 x 0.5 thread pitch screw. We recommend a 10mm length to accommodate a flat and locking washer. No drilling required. If you are unsure of how to mount the reader, please reach out to Mashgin Support.

Confirm with Mashgin Support you are on-site before plugging in the payment device.
Ensure you use a known good LAN cable and a functioning internet connection. Plug one end of the LAN cable into your network and the other end of the LAN cable into the hub ETH port.
Ensure that the AC Adapter is plugged in to a known good AC outlet. Plug the other end of the AC Adapter cable into the terminal’s HUB power cable connection.
Connect the cable to the reader. Please be careful when plugging the pin connector to the back of the reader. Pins can get damaged if not placed properly.
